Vaishno Devi Temple

Vaishno Devi Temple is one of the most popular Hindu pilgrimage destinations, located in the Trikuta Mountains of Jammu and Kashmir. Dedicated to Goddess Vaishno Devi, the temple attracts millions of devotees annually. The shrine is situated at an altitude of 1,560 meters, and pilgrims undertake a 12-kilometer trek from Katra to reach it. The temple complex houses the sanctum sanctorum where the goddess is worshipped in the form of three pindis (natural rock formations). The journey and darshan are considered highly auspicious, promising spiritual fulfillment and blessings.
