Kedarnath Temple

Kedarnath Temple is one of the most revered temples in India, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located in the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini River in Uttarakhand, it is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The temple, at an altitude of 3,583 meters, is accessible only by a trek and is part of the Char Dham pilgrimage. Its origins date back to the Mahabharata era. The stone edifice and its remote location amidst snowy peaks make it a significant spiritual and adventurous destination for pilgrims and tourists.
