DAY 1: ARRIVAL KATRA – REST

Arrive at Katra from Jaipur. Pick up from Katra Railway Station and transfer to hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Katra.

DAY 2: KATRA – VAISHNO DEVI DARSHAN – KATRA

Morning after breakfast proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan- one of the most popular pilgrimages of India situated in the lap of Trikuta mountains across Katra town at an altitude of around 5200 feet. Yatra involves a trek of nearly 12 Kms from base camp at Katra known as Ban Ganga. Alternate way to perform darshans is by Ponies/Palkis/ Helicopter. If time permits, visit Bhairo Temple & return back to Katra in the evening. Overnight stay at Katra.

Day 3: KATRA – PATNITOP

After breakfast drive to Patnitop (80 Kms). On arrival check-in at hotel. Visit Nag Temple & Padora Enclave. You may hire a pony to take a trip through the Pine trees and do not forget to take a camera along for memorable photography.

After Patnitop, proceed for sightseeing of Sanasar (Named after small local lakes, ‘Sana’ & ‘Sar’ are located 20 km west of Patnitop), Sanasar also called the mini Gulmarg and one of the remotest region of India, is a wonderful hill station in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and Nathatop- Nathatop is one of the most popular attraction of Patnitop. Nathatop will offer you a great view of Snow Coated Hills. Now a days Nathatop has been most popular for Paragliding and Hi Flying. Overnight stay at hotel in Patnitop.

DAY 4: PATNITOP – JAMMU – AMRITSAR

Morning after breakfast proceed for Amritsar. Enroute in Jammu visit the famous Raghunath temple. Later drive to Amritsar. Evening arrive at Amritsar. Check into hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 5 AMRITSAR – LOCAL SIGHTSEEING – DEPARTURE

After breakfast, visit famous Golden Temple which has a unique Sikh architecture. It is built at a level lower than the surrounding land level and has four gates. Later, visit Jallian Wala Bagh which is adjacent to Golden Temple. Jallian Wala Bagh houses a memorial of national importance, established in 1951 to commemorate the massacre of peaceful celebrators on the occasion of the Punjabi New Year on April 13, 1919. Visit Durgiana Temple and other tourist destinations at Amritsar. Afternoon visit India-Pakistan Wagah border and watch the famous retreat ceremony which is performed at this place every evening before sunset. Overnight stay at Amritsar. Finally, drop at Amritsar Railway Station/Airport for your onward journey with sweet memories of the tour.
